Jewish Quarter (Josefov)
The Jewish Quarter, known as Josefov, is one of the most visited historical areas in Prague. Located between the Old Town Square and the Vltava River, it preserves the legacy of Prague's Jewish community from the 13th century onward.
Key sites include the Old Jewish Cemetery, the Spanish Synagogue (with its stunning Moorish interior), and the Klausen Synagogue, which houses a museum of Jewish history. The Maisel Synagogue and the Pinkas Synagogue also offer deep insight into the community's past.
