Overview
Prague Castle (Pražský hrad) is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the largest ancient castle in the world by area. Founded around 880 by Prince Bořivoj, it has been the seat of Czech kings, emperors, and presidents. Today it hosts the Czech President and a wealth of historical buildings.
Don't miss the majestic St. Vitus Cathedral, the serene Golden Lane, and the Old Royal Palace. The Castle complex covers 70,000 m² and offers panoramic views of the city.
