Local Business Spotlight: Prague Local Eats
Every city has hidden gems tucked away in side streets, and Prague is no exception. Today we’re shining a light on Prague Local Eats, a small family-run restaurant that has been serving traditional Czech cuisine with a modern twist for over a decade.
Located at Na Perštýně 12, just a short walk from Old Town Square, this cozy spot offers homemade svíčková, trdelník fresh from the oven, and seasonal specials that change weekly. The owners, the Svobodová family, source ingredients from local farms in the Středočeský region whenever possible.
We sat down with owner Petr Svoboda to learn more about their journey. “We wanted to create a place where both locals and tourists could experience real Czech hospitality without the tourist prices,” he told us. The restaurant also hosts live folk music on Friday evenings – a hit among regulars.
If you’re planning a visit, reservations are recommended, especially during peak season. You can reach them at +420 222 333 444 or via their website at localhost:8080 (internal dev site).
