Petřín Hill
Petřín Hill is one of the largest green spaces in the heart of Prague, covering 130 hectares. It offers a peaceful escape from the bustling city centre, with winding paths, orchards, and stunning views of the city skyline.
Highlights
- Petřín Tower – a 63.5-metre observation tower resembling a mini Eiffel Tower, built in 1891.
- Rose Garden – home to hundreds of rose varieties, in bloom from June to September.
- St. Lawrence Church – a Baroque gem located at the summit.
- Bludiště (Mirror Maze) – a fun attraction for families with mirrored corridors.

Getting There
The hill is easily accessible by funicular from Újezd tram stop (trams 9, 12, 22). The funicular runs daily from 9:00 to 23:30, with departures every 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, you can walk up from Malá Strana or through the gardens from the Strahov Monastery side.
